Bio:
Bernard qualified in 1975 and has a vast knowledge of the accountancy industry having been in public practice partnership for almost 20 years prior to forming the tax group of companies. His ambition is to be around for many years in good health providing affordable quality tax and accountancy services and to treat his staff to their regular Friday supply of sweets & biscuits.

Likes: Real Ale and warm pubs

Movie Star who would play me: Bruce Willis
Bio:
Mike started life in TWD as a tax senior back in 1997, through out this time he has had several roles. His current role mainly focus's on the marketing of TWD Accountants and the implementation of their online bookkeeping system known as TWDonline.

Likes: Ice hockey and going on summer holidays

Movie Star who would play me: Julie Walters
Bio:
Christine is the Manager of TWD Tax Services Ltd & TWD Accountants. She joined us as manager in April 2004 having previously escaped H M Revenue & Customs in 1997 to expand her tax knowledge in a local practice and now bringing her expertise here.

Bio:
Andrea joined the company in 1995 directly from HMRC and assisted in the growth of the business alongside the current managers until her departure for the other side of the world in 2008. Since then she has provided assistance to our Australian client's as well as working alongside the managers of all departments providing taxation, management and IT support.

Likes: Baileys, Paranormal Investigating, Making greetings cards, singing and all things spiritual.
Dislikes: Not being allowed to eat copious amounts of chocolate, smoking
Movie Star who would play me: Nigella Lawson
Bio:
Joanne left school in 1982 and joined the Inland Revenue leaving in 1989 to join an accountancy practice. She moved up north in 1992, and continued to work as a Tax Senior for several practices. She joined TWD in 2004 as an Accounts Drafter and is now an Accounts Senior and Supervisor for TWD Accountants.
Joanne is married but has no children and has no desire to have any!

Likes: Freebies, cars, sport and slapstick comedy
Dislikes: Going to the dentist.
Movie Star who would play me: Eddie Murphy
Bio:
Started working at TWD Tax Services in 1996 following a stint of employments with local firms of accountants and a 10 year stretch with HMRC. Ben deals with all areas of tax on a day to day basis and is the office specialist on all seafarer matters.

Likes: Nights in or out with family and good friends, receiving presents, reality tv.
Dislikes: Bad manners, hangovers, losing at anything
Movie Star who would play me: Toni Collette
Bio:
Worked in tax since 2000, joined TWD Accountants in October 2008 before moving to TWD Tax Services Ltd in April 2009 for a more challenging role. Emma deals with most areas of tax and now deals with the majority of the HMRC enquiries and compliance reviews that come into the department as well as dealing with tax returns on a day to day basis.

Likes: Birthday Presents
Dislikes: Cold weather and cold feet, and cats pooing on my front garden
Movie Star who would play me: Orville the Duck
Bio:
Left college in 1998 and worked as a nurse for a year and loved the people aspect of her job. In 1999 she started as a telesales executive for the Guardian Media Group and worked her way up to Senior Field sales Executive for 10 Years. In January 2010 Sarah joined TWD Accountants as Sales Manager where she has implemented a sales structure and is enjoying her challenging new role.

Likes: Off piste snowboarding
Dislikes: Jamie Oliver, Arsene Wenger and the Trafford Centre.
Movie Star who would play me: Paul Newman
Bio:
James graduated in Marketing Management from Manchester University in 2006 and has pursued his ambition and enthusiasm for marketing. The self proclaimed social media aficionado is a keen footballer and an avid musician.

Claire Adamson
Claire is the Senior Administrator for TWD Accountants and is one of our longest serving members of staff - she started April 1994 when we first began. Claire was our first administrator! Her ambition is for her family to be healthy and happy.
Louise Purkhardt
Louise started working for HMRC in 1991 and worked there for 11 years. Then went to work in a private practice for 4 years before coming to TWD in 2006. Louise likes Fridays and wine tasting. Louises' ambition is to win the lottery.
Joan Plimmer
Worked for HMRC from 1988 to 2007 with a 3 year gap in the middle for the kids, then joined TWD. Joan likes Stockport County and drinking cider.
